The City of West Hollywood is looking to modernize its curb management processes to align with its increasing curb demand. Starting with inventory, CurbIQ is collecting all curbside policies and assets across the entire city composing of nearly 100 curb miles. This data is being standardized in CDS and ingested into the CurbIQ database. The various demand vendors are also being integrated so utilization data is aggregated into a central location, all within CurbIQ.
CurbIQ will also be deploying their full platform and associated APIs, providing the City with a centralized platform for all curbside information. City staff will have additional functionality to visualize curb data, plan out various street redesigns, manage all temporary and residential permits, and provide a deep dive on parking demand analytics.
CurbIQ’s involvement will include transmitting both historic and real-time data on events affecting the curb. The APIs will also track and analyze utilization statistics such as occupancy, dwell time, turnover, transactions and violations in various report formats and maps. Multiple data sources will help provide parking utilization predictions and what-if scenarios for events or changes in parking regulations, for both on-street and off-street spaces. The combined delivery of a comprehensive curb space inventory, CurbIQ platform and APIs will be essential for the City to plan and manage their curbs in more efficient and innovative ways.
